MK1 Kano playthrough
MK1 Kano (sometimes referred as Klassic Kano) is a secret character that is playable by selection Kano’s icon and pressing select. He is a tweaked version of his MK1 using the same sprite, with the addition of new one to accommodate fatality that requires it. He doesn’t have any voice samples from the first game, including his war cry when he wins. Instead, he takes all these from Kano. He also gains a Babality, a Brutality and a Stage Fatality input (since in MK1, the Pit fatality’s requirement is simply an uppercut). His win pose and his fatality feature new animation not present in the first game.
His two moves from the first game are done the same way, but use sound effect of Kano’s move. Kano can also hold his Spin Roll before launching, just like in MK1. His Knife Spin is his new move. When performed, he spins his knife around him and the higher the player tap High Punch, the more likely it will it the opponent. Doing so cause a launch, for juggle opportunity. He also has two combos, but his punch combo is very simply to do (High Punch X 4 and is damaging for such as simple combo.
MK1 Kano is strong against the CPU. His punch combo is very easy to do and you can catch the computer off guard when performing his Spin Roll right in front of them. His Knife Spin work wonders against the CPU if you do it very closer to it, but it requires timing and precision. However, once you get a hang of it, you will always hit the CPU and you will be able juggle it a few times. His throw also works well against the CPU until you are at the end of the tower.
