Note : The Super NES port of Mortal Kombat II has two known revision in North America : 1.0 and 1.1.

Kintaro Glitch

Performing alternating HP and LP punch in front of Kintaro without touching him will cause him to stay in his fighting stance. About 20 seconds later, the Kintaro’s CPU will behave erratically, appearing in the air and doing strange animation that are similar to how a player would attempt to control him with a cheating device. The two most common outcome is either getting stuck at the top of screen or crashing the game. In the case of the former, the player can still control its character, but Kintaro in invulnerable until the times runs out.

Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick crash

As Liu Kang, get into the corners with your opponent (with the opponent on the same side as that corner). The second player must perform a neutral jump. Liu Kang must then hit his opponent with a high punch and immediately perform his Bicycle Kick move. If the opponent is high enough, this will cause the game to crash if done in The Dead Pool. In the other Kombat Zone, Liu Kang’s Bicycle kick will execute as normal.

This was fixed in version 1.1. Attempting it will now execute as normal, like in the other Kombat Zone.
