GAME DESCRIPTION

Tony La Russa Baseball is the first Baseball game published by EA Sports for the Sega Genesis. It is known to be based on the baseball simulation algorithm developed by Don Daglow, the creator of the first baseball video game. A spiritual successor to Earl Weaver Baseball, the game aim to be the most realistic as possible. To do so, Tony La Russa was directly involved in the development of the game by providing the artificial intelligence. Official statistics are also included in the game as well as the players’ roster.

Tony La Russa Baseball feature 28 teams : the 26 official teams, the American and the National team. Teams are referred by their city dues to the lack of a Major League Baseball Licence.
