Kabal Playthrough
Kabal is one of the new characters in Mortal Kombat 3. He is introduced as one of the chosen ones shrouded in mystery. He is the survivor of an attack by Shao Khan extermination. This event scarred his face and force him to use a portable artificial respirator. Still able to fight like before, his only goal is revenge.
Kabal has three distinct special moves in his arsenal. His spinning technique causes him to rush very fast to his opponent. If hit, they will be stuck in a spinning animation, allowing combo to be done. Hitting an opponent in the air will produce the same result. His fireball, while slow can be used in specific situations (such as when the opponent is about to get up). He can also do it in the air, which causes him to have a knock-back. Lastly, he has is Ground Saw that hit any opponent on the ground and allow Kabal to perform additional move. Kabal is the character with the most combo in the game. He has 2 bases one and 3 variations of each of them. However, his most useful one is the one that launch his opponent.
Kabal is good against the CPU by using patterns. You can always use his Spinning move after a knockdown from a jump kick, does one of his launch combos and finish it with a jump move or a projectile. It is also possible to start that long combo with standing Low Punch/High Punch. His air projectile causes him knock back and can help him avoid projectiles (as he floats in the air for an extra second). His Ground Saw is viable to use after using his Spinning move, allows a combo to be done right after. CPU also tend to get caught in a throw loop, which can be combined with the Spinning move.
