Scorpion playthrough
Scorpion is very similar to his Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 form. His new addition is the ability to do his teleport punch in front of him. His second fatality was also changed for something unique to MKT (presumably because the PlayStation RAM would have a really hard time to handle 20 copies of Scorpion moving at the same time during UMK3’s Fatality 2).
Scorpion is a simple but powerful character to use. His iconic spear is faster than in MK1 or MK2 and he can use his normal and front Teleport Punch at any time (airborne or not). In addition, he has an air throw that is often used as a combo under. Combine all this with his two combos that are easy to execute to do a lot of damage. Scorpion also has a third combo, but it rarely comes into play.
Scorpion works wonder against the CPU because of an AI Bug. Normally, each time you jump back and you perform a move. A very hard CPU will always throw its projectile. However, Scorpion can use his Teleport Punch to hit his opponent from the other side and immediately throw his spear. The CPU will always get caught in this. Else, he will rely on his spear at the beginning and combos that start with jump.
